How PolicyPoint Works

PolicyPoint offers a unique combination of learning management and HR processes. It can automatically allocate policy training modules, track that the training is completed, manage “non compliant” staff and maintain a third party record of each staff member’s training.

PolicyPoint works by:

Building a personalised training library for each employee
Your administrators compile the policy modules – using your hard or soft copy content, and, if you wish, authorised third party material – for employee groups (according to location, function or other needs) who need to understand that policy or procedure. PolicyPoint delivers specific content relevant to a staff members roles and responsibilities, building a personalised training library that ensures each staff member has the knowledge and skills to fulfill their specific work functions.
Automating the training cycle
Once training programs have been allocated, you can use PolicyPoint to link staff to the required materials, to each staff member. The platform records which staff members have read and understood the information, while automatically reminding staff who are yet to comply. This means that you can schedule training as often as you need, without creating any additional administrative load.
Providing a range of ways to demonstrate knowledge of policies and procedures
You can easily tailor PolicyPoint to deliver proof that staff understand vital policies. For instance, you might decide that simple acknowledgement is sufficient for some policies, while others require demonstrated understanding via multiple-choice, post-training quizzes.
Ensuring no-one falls through the cracks
PolicyPoint also sends exception reports to managers alerting them to staff whose policy education is overdue. These exception reports automatically escalate to higher levels of management if compliance is not achieved, to reduce the possibility of employees falling through the training cracks.
Maintaining an audit trail
PolicyPoint keeps an assessment history for each staff member and provides an independent record of policy acknowledgement and test results – which serves as auditable evidence that staff understand what’s required of them.
