ASIC has banned Mr Jeremy Slater, of Elizabeth Bay in New South Wales from providing financial services for seven years.

This follows an investigation into Mr Slater’s conduct while he was a broker at Findlay Securities Ltd. The investigation revealed Mr Slater had engaged in market manipulation, misleading and deceptive conduct and unauthorised discretionary trading.

It found that his trading created an artificial price for shares in resources group Jutt Holdings Ltd (now known as Venturex Resources Ltd).

This announcement is available online at ASIC.

What our clients say...

"Uptake was quicker and management side was much quicker. We used to have everything on an excel spreadsheet and tick the people off as paperwork arrived, then used emails manually, PolicyPoint allowed us to do it in three weeks. Last year we started around the same time (early November) and the final ones were being done around end of January and early February. Three weeks tops and it was done this year."
