The corporate watchdog is threatening to take action against 25 listed companies which are accused of breaching accounting standards in their financial statements lodged last financial year. The Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) said another 27 listed companies were still being looked at, and it would be decided early next year whether to add them to the list of those facing action.
